Course Description:

Life as we know it is changing rapidly in our country and around the world; we are at a critical juncture. How can we prepare to meet the challenges and opportunities that are before us? We’ll explore the concept of leadership, its principles and practices. As developing leaders, we should think about what makes our campus and the greater Syracuse community operate successfully, as well as who the diverse community stakeholders are that make it possible. We will meet leaders in our city, county, and/or state from a variety of fields and organizations. Why are they leaders? What was their path to leadership? What lessons can we learn to enhance our own leadership potential, knowledge, and skills?
