Course Description:This is the first half of a general chemistry course for students with strong science interests. The emphasis is on quantitative, physical, and inorganic chemistry, with reference to applications in current research. Students should register for this Honors course and an Honors lab (see below). The course is worth four credits including the CHE 129 lab. A strong high‐school background in chemistry is recommended. Credit is given for CHE 106 or CHE 109, but not both. |
