Course Description:

We will be using a thematic approach to learn about specific contemporary and conceptual issues that are central to our understanding of nature-society and climate-society relations. The course will then focus on and apply these concepts to examine select themes including the role of space in nature-society relations, the politics and crisis of waste, political ecology of water, the global commons and environmental justice.
